ABOUT JACQUI WILMSHURST CPSYCHOL AFBPSS
A trusted and experienced behavioural and social scientist and creative, I bring science and art together to facilitate how we understand and interact with our environments, and the relationships we have within them, towards improved outcomes in practice, innovation, and wellbeing. I provide services in four core areas:1. Workplace Relationships: Leadership development, team effectiveness, and relational skills, with a focus on small to medium-sized organisations. Delivered via facilitated workshops, training, and individual mentoring.2. Psychological Risk Management: risk management services and training for professionals working in psychologically high risk roles and environments (including emergency services, front-line healthcare workers, journalists, social media content moderators, humanitarian aid workers).3. Nature-Relating & Connection: facilitated group and community workshops in reclaiming and re-writing your nature story. Based on the art and science of collaborative narrative inquiry and experiential learning. Environmental and conservation psychology: advisory, education and training services for professionals working towards improved outcomes in biodiversity conservation, wildlife care, and human wellbeing in urban environments.I have worked as a British Army officer, an academic researcher in health, social & environmental psychology, a consultant and trainer for professionals working in \'hostile environments\', and a wellbeing leader in renowned organisations including the BBC, Meta, and TikTok. A Chartered Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, I bring a wealth of knowledge to complement my professional experience. My global portfolio includes UK, Ireland, Germany, Russia, US, Canada, Colombia, Brazil, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Kenya, China, Japan and Singapore.I also own and run a small wildlife sanctuary from my home in Yorkshire, UK. I am currently working on a new academic research project,\'Caring Wildly\', exploring Human-Wildlife Relationships via Narrative Inquiry, funded by the Open University.
