About Jacqui Aiello

As a housing advocate and architectural enthusiast, my work is aimed towards providing beautiful, meaningful spaces where people can feel safe, comfortable, and at peace. I am an Architectural Staff employee at SMR, where our project force is nearly all affordable housing, permanent supportive housing, and shelter work. I assist with the complete process of my projects from design development through construction. I coordinate the design delivery with consultants to ensure our clients\' needs are met through each project. Outside of my architectural work, I volunteer with non profits around the Seattle-Tacoma area advocating for policy to create and sustain affordable housing to address the housing crisis in our region. I do this through direct and indirect action, which includes building tiny houses, creating educational opportunities for the public, and organizing around initiatives and bills around the issues of housing affordability.
