Partner with executive leadership as a decisive, strategic leader, to guide and design global DE & I plans for one of the top hospital systems in the world. Oversee a team of five and support Cleveland Clinic’s affinity-based employee resource groups (11) and location-specific diversity councils (13). Build community as a collaborator, convener, and empathetic motivator. Align people and talent goals with overall mission, using influence effectively to garner sponsorship and accomplish collective goals. Extend and elevate Cleveland Clinic’s innovative, best in class brand in the realm of diversity, equity and inclusion. Architect & govern the organization’s DE & I strategic plan with the following areas of responsibility: Strategy Development • Create and implement a cohesive enterprise-wide DE & I strategy in concert with overall Cleveland Clinic strategies, partnering closely with the CEO, Chief Caregiver Officer, and other key stakeholders. • Identify and leverage key industry trends, best practices and market dynamics to optimize opportunity for strategic decisions. Governance • Partner with executive leaders to ensure the advancement of DE & I as a core value and strategic lever for business growth. • Cultivate strategic partnerships with key business leaders and liaisons. Organizational Leadership • Support and enable Cleveland Clinic’s DE & I-related objectives and key results (OKRs) by bolstering the diversity of the leadership team. • Create a global healthcare vision, with performance metrics that are measurable, enabling Cleveland Clinic to be a strategic influencer on DE & I in the healthcare industry. External Partnerships • Build effective external collaborations and partnerships to accomplish health equity goals. • Serve as a thought leader for the industry, sharing and leveraging best practices.
