    Blessings of Hope

Feb 2026 — Present · Austin, TX, US

In the wealthiest nation on earth, millions still go to bed hungry. The USDA reports that 13.5% of US households-about 18 million homes-are food insecure, and in 2023 alone nearly 14 million children lived in households struggling to access consistent, nutritious food. At the very same time the US struggles to feed its children, 30-40% of all food produced in the country goes to waste-the equivalent of a semi-truck load every 13 seconds; it’s a picture of a broken system where abundance and hunger exist side by side.Blessings of Hope bridges the gap with our fleet of trucks, streamlined logistics, high-capacity receiving, temperature-controlled storage, and an army of volunteers that transforms surplus food from manufacturers and distributors into nutritious meals for families and communities. Hundreds of ministries, churches, and community organizations rely on Blessings of Hope to supply the food their neighborhoods urgently need. As demand increases across the country, new regions are asking for a distribution center of their own.Our impact capital investment program, via a Red D 506(c) fund, provides the capital to acquire, develop, and lease facilities for these hubs, allowing Blessings of Hope to expand into multiple markets, strengthen the food-distribution backbone, and multiply impact sustainably. The result is a national model where surplus food is acquired efficiently, transformed through community engagement, and distributed to those in need. Join us, whether through financial donations, investment in our impact capital fund, or corporate food supply, to help ensure that no blessing is wasted.
