In my role as the Senior Director, Business Intelligence at the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board, I am responsible for providing data analysis and strategic planning expertise to our Sales, Marketing, & Business Operations. Utilizing my expertise in hospitality and sales management, the team and I translate complex data into actionable insights, fostering sales initiatives and organizational growth.I have been in the travel and hospitality industry for the duration of my career. Prior to joining Los Angeles Tourism, I worked for Marriott International for 25 years. During my time with Marriott, I held multiple sales and leadership roles with a proven track record of success over several years managing large, multi-discipline sales teams. During this time, I gained extensive experience working across broad complex markets with diverse customer and demand segments. Some of my Marriott career highlights include being a key team leader for the initial roll-out of Marriott’s sales transformation strategy and leading the pre-opening hotel efforts for 5 new properties in Los Angeles.
