About Jacques Arsenault
I am a connector, a strategic communications leader, and a \"Jacques of all trades\" with deep experience in helping people and organizations make meaningful decisions, create impact, and tell their stories. While my professional roles in communications and strategy have spanned the government, non-profit, and higher education sectors, my passion is in coaching and mentoring young adults as they step into life after college, from the nitty-gritty of adulting to the steps in building a meaningful career.I currently lead social media, video, and podcast production for the U.S. Government Accountability Office. Each year, my team helps bring 700 or more GAO reports on federal programs and spending-from forestry to fighter jets-to the public, in an increasingly crowded news environment. I have led our video efforts to double annual video productions while modernizing both our production environment and video styling, both of which allowed the team to operate seamlessly in an abrupt shift to virtual work during the COVID pandemic. I recently began the Post-Grad Compass website as a place to connect with students and young alumni in the early stages of careers and \"adulting.\" Post-Grad Compass is a place where to share both skills for 20-something life and the experiences of others who have traveled the post-college journey and experienced successes, challenges, and personal growth, on the way to success.I am excited to connect with individuals or organizations working to build resources for individuals in early career life, and those navigating their late college years.
