ABOUT JACQUES GREEN

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in helping clients address mood and behavior issues, stress, anxiety,depression and other interpersonal and family issues. My specialty is chronic pain and addiction, currently serving a population that is considered under served and under insured. I work in an integrated care model of treatment where we have a MD to work on helping patients wean off of pain medications, an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, a Nurse Case Manager, and Behavioral Health. We are a holistic treatment program where many patients who\'ve participated in pain clinics in the past are used to receiving medication, injections, etc and having little to no relief. This model seeks to help patients learn to gain confidence in themselves and their bodies to be able to live the life they want instead of letting pain dictate their lives. The primary treatment modalities I use include ACT, CBT, Insight, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Biofeedback. Patients are provided education on pain and the brain, mindfulness as well as the different ways mindfulness can assist with managing pain but also life in general, they are taught and practice breathing techniques, relaxation techniques, and ways to take control back to move through the stages of change to reach whatever goals they may have set for themselves.
