About Jacques Benun
I practice general pediatrics for 28 years. I joined within a few years The PROS (Pediatric Research in Office Setting) Network a collaborative clinical research group organized by the American Academy of Pediatrics that designs and carries out research by pediatricians in multiple outpatient settings. I have been involved in many studies. I was a member of the National Steering Committee for the PROS Network for 5 years and Chair of the Committee 2018 to 2021. I relocated to Austin in 2016, to work at Austin Regional Clinic (ARC) in Austin, Texas. Besides practicing general Pediatrics, I was involved teaching medical students and pediatrics residents from local schools. I started industry clinical research at MediSync (a CRO affiliated to ARC) in 2018 as Principal Investigator for pediatric clinical trials such as Pfizer COVID vaccines, infant meningococcal vaccines and autism AI device.I was hired in 2022 to be a Principal Investigator at a San Antonio based research company in Austin that focuses on treatment of MASLD/MASH (formerly known as NAFLD & NASH).Currently practicing as a part time pediatrician and mental health - telemedicineSpecialties: General Pediatrics & Clinical Research
