ABOUT JACQUELYN TEPPER
Recent Northwestern graduate pursuing dance. In my sophomore year at Northwestern, I collaborated in an interdisciplinary research project studying site-specific dance in public spaces where I traveled to different National Parks performing in a solo dance film. The first trip, the government shutdown occurred turning my research from dance in public spaces to dance in political spaces. Since then, I\'ve been pursuing collaborative opportunities across both my academic disciplines while continuing dance scholarship. For my Senior Honors Thesis, I researched the role of language within the rehearsal space, comparing the vocabulary used in different dance genres when teaching choreography meant for the stage.
