As Vice President of the Employment Law Group/Assistant General Counsel at Raymond James, I bring over fifteen years of experience in Employment Law, Employee Relations, and Human Resources. My role has primarily involved conducting enterprise-wide investigations into allegations of workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, ethics violations and wage and hour issues, and included ADA compliance, providing advice and counsel on leaves of absence, managing complex employment-related matters including reductions in force, and performing legal risk assessments on terminations. I leverage my expertise to address workplace challenges with a focus on compliance and organizational integrity. I am committed to fostering an equitable workplace through strategic legal counsel and effective conflict resolution. My goal is to create and maintain a positive work environment for all associates and to effectuate and support policies and practices that promote fairness, inclusion, and ethical standards within the firm.My professional experience also includes private practice, and holding Employee Relations and Business Affairs roles for other Fortune 500 companies such as PNC, Target and The Walt Disney Company. I have also served two terms as a National Vice President of Membership for the Hispanic National Bar Association, among other leadership roles within the organization.
