About Jacquelyn Jackie Galindo
Not so long ago in a rather close universe, I began my journey in academics at the University of Texas at Austin majoring in English. While learning, I worked at the University of Texas Press, earning valuable experience in the publishing industry. After long weeks of all-nighters, and three jobs later, I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor\'s degree in English. After graduating I participated in Walt Disney World\'s College Program, discovering new cultures and experiences. After my side-quest at Disney, I returned to Texas and began growing new skills and learning how to use storytelling in a different field, Marketing. Now I\'ve returned full-time to my love of stories, as a Marketing Associate at Portfolio Books, an imprint for ambitious readers at Penguin Random House. In all my journeys I\'ve always been a reader, writer, and an avid lover of learning.
