In the four years leading up to the creation of WINGS, I had been a member of other networking groups. These groups both contained men and women and women alone. However, I did not feel like women were authentically supported in these groups. As I continued work as a business and life coach, I felt called to create a group that would focus on building relationships first, providing the trust and foundation for natural referrals to follow. WINGS was immediately supported by community partners upon its creation, and we opened our first chapter in January 2016. We have since grown to include over 75 women business leaders in our community. My true joy in this experience has been to see the growth of connections and relationships - and the corresponding exploding growth in business and success for our members.
