SUMMARY: I serve as the senior leader for stage management. This is a high-profile role at the peak of the profession with one of the world’s most-respected ballet companies. With Lincoln Center in New York City as its home, a busy schedule of performances and a touring schedule, it is demanding in every way possible. But I get to work with the most talented people, so the effort is well worth it. My drive, determination, and professionalism in collaboration with others have made our consistently excellent goal-achievement record possible.I manage my portion of about 180 performances annually, including as many as 20% of them touring domestically and internationally. I lead a team of dozens of crew members, nearly 100 dancers, and nearly as many musicians. Together, we produce four to as many as eight new ballets each year. NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS Displayed exemplary leadership to guide our crew through the numerous and lengthy challenges of the pandemic. Implemented and continually improving health and safety practices to protect all and keep the ballet producing world-class events. Managing some of the most complex productions in the world of ballet. Elements include scenery, pyrotechnics, projections, and large casts and crews that require exacting, unwavering attention and direction. Overcame cultural and work practice challenges during international productions, including in state-owned theaters. Maintaining low team turnover and associated long tenures among employees who are engaged and committed to ensuring our standing at the apex of the world of ballet.
