About Jacqueline Larcara
Hey there! I’m Jacqueline, a captivating writer and editor with twelve years of experience across journalism, marketing, and media relations.Innately curious and observant, I am a born storyteller. After receiving my BA in Journalism from Rowan University, I followed this passion by launching my reporting and editing career at New Jersey Monthly magazine. After five years of telling the stories of innovative arts leaders and institutions in the Garden State, I yearned to push the limits of my storytelling abilities. Next, I joined the marketing team at the South Orange Performing Arts Center and was tasked with sharing the story of this nonprofit organization through press releases, web content, video projects, social media and email campaigns. Most recently, I returned to my reporting and editing roots as the editor of New Jersey Bride magazine—once a journalist, always a journalist!Top skills: ability to write in various voices with a “show, don’t tell” approach, strong attention to detail, deadline-driven, high standards for accuracy, cross-department collaboration, prowess in managing multiple projects simultaneously, exceptionally organized, excellent written and verbal communication including leading meetings.Technical skills: WordPressSocial Media (Instagram, Facebook groups, LinkedIn, YouTube)EmmaHubSpotAdobe InCopyAdobe ExpressCanvaShopifyAP StyleSEOGoogle Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Slides, Forms)Google AnalyticsSalesforce
