Career highlights include raising $40 million over two decades from public and private sources for the economically challenged people of Essex and Hudson Counties\' urban towns and cities, for food, housing, social services, and innovative high school education. Jackie was part of the Newark Celebration 350 Fundraising Committee in 2016, a 12-member city-wide team that raised $3 million in eight months under the direction of Irene Cooper-Basch of Victoria Foundation for arts and legacy projects that will impact the city of Newark for decades to come.
