About Jacqueline Stein

I have a background in corporate communications and public relations, as well as a passion for politics and international relations. I recently earned my M.A. in Political Science with a concentration in European Union Policy Studies from James Madison University while living and studying in Florence, Italy. Before that, I spent three years at Fannie Mae on the External Communications team, where I coordinated interviews and media engagements with national outlets, drafted press releases and social media content for executive leadership, and tracked and analyzed media coverage. In 2021, I earned my B.A. in Political Science and Communication from the College of Charleston. During my time there, I interned with former Representative Joe Cunningham’s congressional campaign, where I helped organize voter outreach efforts and coordinated campaign events. I also gained experience in public relations through an internship at Groundswell PR, where I supported account executives by building media lists, conducting market research, and assisting with client projects. My experience bridges strategic communications and political science, with a strong foundation in planning, media relations, and content development. I’m especially passionate about organizing campaigns and events, building strong interpersonal relationships, and creating spaces that bring people together.
