ABOUT JACQUELINE M. VARGAS

I’m a Talent Development Specialist at Envoy Air, focused on building people-centered programs that strengthen leadership capability, elevate early-career talent, and foster cultures where employees can truly thrive. My career sits at the intersection of talent development, culture strategy, and inclusion. Shaped by my time at American Airlines—supporting DEI programs, enterprise partnerships, and stakeholder alignment I bring a systems-level perspective to designing development experiences that are both meaningful and measurable. This work is deeply personal. As a proud Latina, born to immigrant parents and raised in the South Bronx, I’ve seen firsthand how access, opportunity, and representation shape outcomes. Those experiences continue to guide my commitment to creating pathways where people feel seen, supported, and equipped to grow.At Envoy, I support leadership development initiatives and lead the internship program, designing intentional early-career experiences centered on mentorship, capstone projects, and real connection to the organization helping emerging talent gain clarity, confidence, and momentum. Before aviation, I spent 15 years in nonprofit education, bridging the gap between education and the workforce. That foundation continues to shape my passion for mentorship, development, and long-term talent growth.I hold a B.A. in Organizational Psychology, a DEI Certification from Cornell University, and a Project Management Certification. Based in Dallas, I enjoy connecting with fellow talent and learning professionals and contributing to spaces where people and culture are treated as strategic priorities.Top 5 Strength Finder: Individualization, Ideation, Arranger, Developer, Restorative
