ABOUT JACQUELINE PLASTER
Currently, I am Regional Manager at everwave. My role includes- Detailed project scouting, preparation, planning and implementation - Leading a team of 18 people, with both local and international staff (including HR, contracts.)- Budget planning, maintenance & accounting - Data management and reporting - Extended arm of the everwave-board and company representative in the SEA region - Stakeholder engagement, building networks and partnerships - Defining goals, coordinating them with all stakeholders, adhering to them and measuring them - Mediator role, bundling the interests of all parties involved in our projects, concentrating on intercultural differences - Representing the company in external meetings with several stakeholders including the government, clients & project partners - Giving presentations and key-notes & participating at exhibitions or events - Sales I am passionate about working on a global problem in a collaborative way. It is not \'their\' waste or \'your\' waste - it is OUR waste, OUR problem - we are all sitting in the same boat and need to step up and take responsibility. About myself: I enjoy to understand how countries\' work styles differ, love to combine the strenghts and believe that collaborations are the key to success. My greatest strength is combining a structured and organized life and work style with creative and intuitive approaches. My professional interests include plastic collection, sorting, recycling and upcycling, waste management in general & developing approaches to sustainable and resilient solutions through cross-cultural working. My private life is very important for me as well: I am passionate about nature and the ocean, into diving, sailing, dancing (bachata and salsa) and hiking. I believe in personell growth and that sustainability starts with yourself.
