About Jacqueline Marquez
I\'m a first generation Latina Senior at the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign. My major in Community Health with a concentration in Health Planning and Administration has influenced my interested in studying health disparities and social determinants of health in underrepresented areas. As a Pre-Med student I\'ve explored topics within women\'s health, conducting mental health research uncovering the effect COVID-19 has had on the mental health of Mexican mothers. My curriculum has allowed me to conduct multiple research projects on how to improve quality of healthcare in different settings.
