ABOUT JACQUELINE JACKI HARP

Serving Smokies Life as Chief Executive Officer, supporting the scientific, historical and interpretive activities of Great Smoky Mountains National Park by providing educational products and services to park visitors. Smokies Life is a nonprofit cooperating association, and as such is one of the National Park Service’s oldest and most enduring partnerships. Exploring the Smokies begins at one of the park’s state-of-the-art visitor centers, where rangers conduct educational programs and Smokies Life staff provide recommendations for the best hiking, picnicking and camping spots or help visitors select an item to commemorate their time in America\'s most visited national park. Smokies Life also publishes a full suite of books, maps and digital media to help visitors of all ages learn about and connect with the diverse biological and cultural stories in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Experience also includes: Retail leadership and operations, ERG/Inclusion Network leadership, Executive Board Member, strategic planning in the field of conservation nonprofits, public speaking, and broad experience in driving business, retail event planning and execution, training, new store openings, community partnerships, talent acquisition/recruiting and HR. This experience includes managing store volumes between $5MM-$18MM, multi-unit retail management team sizes ranging from 30-80 employees, some proud successes and some very educational failures.
