ABOUT JACQUELINE JACKIE FAHRENHOLZ
I am broadly interested in landscape-scale management that focuses on minimizing impacts on natural systems while still meeting global market and local community needs. I see a high value in and need for science and research communication to be delivered successfully to audiences that can act to make change. I have experience working with communities in the global south both in person and virtually; I have conducted field work in South America, Southeast Asia, and the Caribbean. I really enjoy working in tropical rainforests and mangrove ecosystems, but love to explore and would be grateful for an opportunity to support work outside of these biomes. My specialized technical skills include ESRI suite products, drone/lidar data processing, and coding in R and Python.
