About Jacqueline Carroll
I am a human rights advocate, storyteller, and legal professional with a career dedicated to protecting vulnerable communities and confronting hate in all its forms. As an Assistant State’s Attorney for over a decade, I specialized in prosecuting child sex offenders and litigated complex civil rights cases. Today, I serve as National Director of Partnerships & Growth at the Simon Wiesenthal Center, where I lead national initiatives on tolerance and human rights education—including involvement in the expansion of the Mobile Museums of Tolerance and the creation of a new traveling human rights exhibit. My leadership extends beyond the courtroom and the nonprofit sector. I serve on the Board of the Decalogue Society of Lawyers, where I co-chair the Committee Against Antisemitism and Hate, and previously served on the ADL Midwest Regional Board. I am a frequent writer, moderator, and panelist on issues ranging from the Nuremberg Trials and Holocaust education to hate speech and constitutional law, with several published articles and a legal treatise contribution to my name. What sets me apart is the fusion of advocacy and artistry—I bring not only legal and organizational expertise but also a background in performance. My training as an actress, singer, and dancer has given me the unique ability to communicate powerfully, connect with diverse audiences, and make complex issues accessible. Whether in the courtroom, on stage, or at the podium, my work is guided by a singular mission: to confront hate, advance justice, and give voice to those who need it most.
