WORK HISTORY
Artist in Residence @Dundee Contemporary Arts
Dundee, GB
The main aim of the residency is to work across a range of printmaking and 3D technologies, exploring the old and new through a range of print processes and software packages. The overriding theme of MY arts practice is to create representations of imagined landscape through printmaking and 3D software techniques. Concentrating on the idea of the imprint and the tactility of relief studies, I will beginmapping the textures and surfaces of landscapes creating an imagined place both through print and virtual space. Focusing on contemplations of the mythology of Scottish landscapes, the location of the residency gives the opportunity to source inspiration from the local landscapes and geographical space of Fife and Angus. The project will develop a series of artworks utilising technical methods such as laser cutting, screenprinting, photo-etching, photographic print, 3D animation.
