Existing role of US Compliance extended to AXA Partners US, Canada and the Latin American geography countries (“Americas”)-Responsible for reducing risks by ensuring that international, US and Federal laws are not violated-Implement local requirements and AXA Partners Compliance framework across all countries (United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Andean Region, Chile and Argentina)-Oversee the proper implementation of local regulatory programs (i.e. SAGRILAFT & SARLAFT in Colombia, sanction program requirements in Canada, etc.) with the involvement of local business owners and coordinate resources -Perform risk assessments and operational procedures per country to identify compliance risks across the region and support business owners with defining action plans and progress until closure -Compliance due diligences over new deals, as well as through the onboarding of vendors and suppliers to avoid compliance risks for the region -Design and implement permanent controls to oversee the effectives of the compliance program -Oversee as well as perform gap analysis and define action plans to ensure proper implementation of policies in alignment with the compliance framework, such as whistleblowing, AML/FT, bribery and corruption, conflict of interest, gifts & entertainments, international sanctions, conduct risk & customer protection-Ensuring that the rules and controls comply with relevant local regulations and AXA Partners policies, as well as provide consultancy and guidance as required.
