My career began in the coal mining industry working in Human Resources, Communications and Public Affairs. In my various roles I provided leadership to ensure positive external and internal communications with teammates, customers, media and community leaders. I was a member of the Public Affairs Committee for the Coal Association Board of Canada, I was also a member of the Executive Committee for Children\'s Miracle Telethon, a member of local community boards in the Crows Nest Pass.After my mining career ended, I accepted two contractual positions as Executive Director of a Family Resource Centre, Provincial Director for Alberta Cerebral Palsy Association. In my current position at Wallace & Carey I am responsible for payroll, benefits, training and development, safety and security; and operational efficiencies. I am a member of the Executive Team where our team works together to develop strategic objectives to ensure the long term viability of the company.
