About Jacqueline Ines
Open to part-time opportunities in fitness or event management in Washington state. After realizing that “Spy Kid” wasn’t a sustainable career path, I found my true calling in fitness and community-driven work. I currently serve as both General Manager and Personal Trainer at Seattle Boxing Gym, where I lead business operations, client engagement, and coach a diverse roster of clients in a high-energy, supportive environment. My work extends beyond the gym floor. I’m one of the founders of Kimchi Craft Collective, a small business focused on handmade goods and community-building. I\'ve recently expanded into event management, coordinating and participating in local maker markets across Washington state to showcase local artists and entrepreneurs.I thrive in spaces where creativity, service, and people intersect. Whether I\'m training clients, organizing pop-up markets, or supporting community programs, I bring strong communication skills, logistical coordination, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed. My background includes work with AmeriCorps, the Hunger Intervention Program, and United Way of King County, and I hold a BA in Geography (GIS emphasis) and a Diversity minor from the University of Washington. My senior thesis explored youth boxing communities in WA—a topic close to my heart.I’ve also contributed to major events like Microsoft Ignite, PAX, and the PlayStation Experience, where I supported logistics, operations, and client-facing services. In the ring, I’m a four-time NCBA All-American, three-time national and regional champ, and USA Boxing-certified coach. I’m also NASM-certified as a personal trainer and performance enhancement specialist.Let’s connect if you’re looking for someone with a mix of operational grit, creative vision, and a commitment to people-first leadership.
Experience
General Manager
Nov 2016 — Present · Seattle, WA, US
I began at Seattle Boxing Gym as a personal trainer and progressed into the role of General Manager, combining hands-on coaching with business leadership. As one of the highest-performing trainers on the team, I work with a wide range of clients, design and lead dynamic group classes, and serve as one of the head coaches for our amateur boxing team—guiding athletes through technical development and competition preparation. On the operational side, I manage cross-functional areas including sales, payroll, and client engagement, while also recruiting, training, and supervising staff. I work closely with leadership to align strategy with execution, maintain compliance, and foster a strong, people-first team culture. Through targeted marketing and engagement efforts, I led initiatives that increased annual sales by 63% and online bookings by 89%.
