About Jacob Zander

Mechanical and Plumbing Project Manager in the Bay Area with a focus on teamwork and collaboration to complete multi-family, commercial, and high rise projects on time and under budget. Previously I was a Project Manager with Broadway Mechanical and Pan Pacific Mechanical, responsible for multiple projects ranging from multi-family to research and development facilities. Before relocating to the Bay Area, I worked for Xcel Mechanical Systems in Gardena, CA. At Xcel, I grew from a project engineer to a project manager, working on various projects such as the LMU Life Sciences Building, and the San Antonio Community Hospital. My experience at Xcel gave me valuable engineering, management, and personal skills I have used to grow as a Project Manager. Prior to my current job and June 2011 college graduation, I was hired as an engineering intern at three firms. In December 2010, I completed a six-month mechanical engineering design internship with Bruker Nano Surfaces, formerly Veeco Metrology. From June 2009 - April 2010, I worked at ATK Space Systems in Goleta, CA, as a mechanical engineering intern. During my summer breaks between 2006 and 2008, I was a project engineering, superintending and estimating intern at W.E. O\'Neil Construction Company of California.In addition to my studies and internships, I was on the California State Polytechnic Universities Rose Float team for three years.
