I am currently an Assembly Manufacturing Engineer for John Deere Seeding in Moline, IL. I support the large planter business in my current role. In this role I am responsible for leading department CI activities and implementing projects improving employee safety, reducing process NVA, and improving product quality. In addition to CI Activities, I also manage line balancing and resplitting actives for any major product or process changes. Other responsibilities include: Leading Introduction of new smart tooling to the line, management of manufacturing standards, manage/creation of shop floor MES system, and implementing line facilities/infrastructure upgrade projects. I am also currently a graduate student at the University of Iowa, pursuing my MBA and MS Data Analytics. I was previously member of the John Deere Engineering Development program at John Deere Waterloo Works. In this program I was able to hold two unique roles, Industrial Engineer and Order Fulfillment Manufacturing Engineer. As an Industrial Engineer I was responsible for managing and creating manufacturing standards, maintaining up to date product take rates, and developing and updating production routings. I also managed all simulation and line balancing activities for any large process, product, or manpower changes. As an Order Fulfillment Process(OFP) Manufacturing Engineer I was responsible for driving continuous improvement projects throughout the 7R business, implementing process changes, developing new and innovative manufacturing solutions, updating and reviewing current process standards, ensuring all manufacturing procedures adhere to Ergonomic Standards, and assisting with technical line down issues to eliminate downtime. I have previous experience as a Data Analyst for CELDi, Industrial Engineer at Hormel Foods, and a Project Manager for Bob Johnson Construction. In each of these roles I gained invaluable knowledge and skills to help grow my career. I am a proud May 2019 graduate of the the University of Missouri, Majoring in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering.
