Legal and business operations professional with significant experience advising venture-backed and growth-stage companies on establishing, structuring and scaling in house legal functions to drive business outcomes in fast-paced and collaborative workplaces.Currently serving as VP Legal to Flexible Finance, a fast-growing growth stage financial technology company based in NYC backed by Matrix, Spark, Stripes Group, Lightspeed and other leading VC firms. I lead a team of attorneys and legal operations professionals responsible for all of Flex\'s corporate and commercial legal work, supporting our Finance, BD/Partnerships, Sales, Strategy & Operations and People teams, among others. Previously I was General Counsel of Honest Buildings, a B2B SaaS platform based in New York City. I joined the company during its Series B fundraising process, and I helped guide it through its sale to Procore less than two years later. In each of my roles I have joined as the first legal hire, and have been responsible for all legal matters, including Board meetings, strategic transactions, commercial contracts, employment and compensation issues, financing and real estate issues, and advising on product development.
