About Jacob Shell
I am a graduate with a bachelors in Computer Science and Communications from Northeastern University. I am confident in my coding abilities, but working with people is where I really shine. I am fluent in Java, SQL, and Excel and am familiar with Python, C++, HTML and CSS. I am passionate about utilizing my background in communications to bridge the computer science community to those that are less experienced in the field, and strengthening that connection to promote a healthier and better work atmosphere.Apart from computer science, I thoroughly enjoy my weekends mentoring children in Roxbury through the DREAM program, and spending my summers in upstate New York where I am a camp counselor for the Double H Ranch for Children with Life Threatening Illnesses. I am all about community outreach and paying it forward.
