About Jacob Warren
For over 30 years I have enjoyed working in Manufacturing, Power Generation, and Chemicals/Refining environments and finding ways to simplify, improve, and reduce OpEx/CapEx in these challenging industries. That has taken many forms including writing software, executing systems integrations, designing secure network architectures, and explaining & negotiating those complex details with people in a litany of business silos and multiple countries.Creativity is one of my strongest attributes, and I enjoy encouraging and mentoring others to develop their ability in this space because the simplest, best solutions can escape us if we\'re not open to \"inverting the axes\", so to speak. I excel at identifying patterns, commonalities, and themes, and designing unifying elements to deliver scale and efficiency.I\'ve spent many years bringing fresh, effective approaches to complex problems using my Engineering, Software, and Business Process Optimization skill. I\'m equally comfortable walking the site in my PPE, taking notes from Control Room Operators, translating equations into software code, and delivering C-level presentations. Whatever it takes, I\'m up for the challenge.
