About Jacob Kramer

I am a Senior Marketing Major at Miami University Farmer School of Business seeking a sales position within the Healthcare Industry after my graduation in May 2024. I am currently looking for jobs in Cleveland, OH area but am open to new locations. During my time at Miami, I have attained many interpersonal skills while also being proficient in Excel and Python. Being in a social fraternity, Delta Chi, I have learned the true value of dependability when it comes to social and volunteer events where we raise money for organizations such as the Jacob Butze Foundation. I also participated in Miami\'s Client Challenge, which is a team presentation where we have to provide a solution to a real-life client. This challenge helped me develop collaboration, public speaking, and researching skills. I have also attained leadership skills from being named President of the Healthcare Business Sales Organization at Miami University. This experience has helped me network with many sales professionals as well and understand what skills I need to be successful in this industry.Over the last summer, I was a Sales and Marketing Intern for a fraud and IT protection company called Bonefish Systems. There I learned how to create marketing campaigns and communicate with potential customers. I have also held the role of Foreman for Landscape Solutions, a professional landscape company while simultaneously starting a landscape company of my own. These two positions helped me understand how to be a strong and efficient leader by managing employees and two different schedules for both companies. It also taught me good communication skills with customers and good problem-solving skills when having to deal with issues that come up on a day-to-day basis. Furthermore, I currently work at Miami University\'s ice rink while still attending classes, which has accelerated my multitasking and time-management skills.On-campus at Miami, I am involved in the Real Estate, BlockChain, and Kendama clubs where I enjoy learning new skills and trades that I can bring to the real world. I have gained various valuable skills like leadership, teamwork, and time management that will help me succeed in any work that I do and I am looking forward to new opportunities to come.
