About Jacob Bertram
Jacob Bertram is a Burnett Honors College student at the University of Central Florida pursuing majors in Economics and Political Science. Jacob is interested in the intersection between public policies that are designed to improve our world and how they are crafted during the legislative process, then administered in our day-to-day lives. Jacob is interested in gaining more experience in the legal world in order to pursue a career as a lawyer. He currently serves as an Intern for Orange County Legislative Affairs through the University of Central Florida Legislative Scholars Program. Jacob has enjoyed the opportunity to work in some of the University of Central Florida\'s leading student involvement organizations, including serving as Student Body Advocacy Chair for Student Government, Resident Assistant with Housing and Residence Life, Advocate on the President\'s Student Advisory Council, and Lavender Councilmember with LGBTQ+ Student Support Services.
