About Jacob Nieman
A local government professional, with nearly a decade of service in municipal government. I am the Assessor of the Township of West Orange. I hold a Master\'s in Public Administration at Rutgers University and was an Eagleton Institute Graduate Fellow in Practical Politics. Outside of the office I seek to improve my community with a focus on land use, transportation, and economic development as a member of the Montclair Township Planning Board, Montclair Center BID Board, Montclair Vision Zero Task Force. I also volunteer as the Vice-Chair of the Cap & Skull Society of Rutgers University.
