ABOUT JACOB MADY

Golf has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and over the past five years working at Lionhead Golf Club, it has grown from a passion into a professional path. My experience has allowed me to understand the game not just from a player’s perspective, but from inside the operations of a leading club, where creating exceptional guest experiences, fostering community, and upholding the traditions of the sport truly matter.I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a Certificate of Law at Queen’s University, developing strong skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic communication. These skills, combined with years of hands-on experience supporting tournaments, events, and daily play at Lionhead, have shaped how I approach both the game and the business of golf, with focus, discipline, and respect for every detail.Currently, I’m advancing my knowledge through a Golf Business Administration program and preparing to complete the PGA of Canada Playing Ability Test (PAT) as part of my journey toward becoming a Class A Golf Professional. My goal is to continue growing as a professional within the industry, contributing to the game I love and building a meaningful, long-term career in golf.
