ABOUT JACOB KOJFMAN
I am an experienced commercial technology lawyer focused on providing solution-oriented strategic legal advice with a pragmatic focus on mitigating real risks. I provide clear, practical legal advice so my clients can understand the contractual risks as they apply to the business issues so they can make better decisions.I understand the legal and business drivers of complex commercial agreements and bring experience in drafting, structuring, and negotiating these types of agreements, including software, systems development, outsourcing, software license agreements, professional services, and advising on matters related to data protection, privacy, and digital initiatives. I have negotiated and drafted a number of software-as-a-service (SAAS) agreements for enterprise clients using cloud solutions. I have also acted as product counsel to a proprietary SAAS solution. Currently, I am Senior Legal Counsel at an insurance company, helping it undergo its digital transformation journey. Immediately prior to my current role, I supported sales teams at a global information technology consulting company.
