ABOUT JACOB DILLEY
At my core I am Product Designer who helps teams turn vague ideas into clear, usable and genuinely enjoyable digital products, and transform existing products to improve growth, conversion and engagement.I’m not especially keen on self-promotion and LinkedIn still isn’t my natural habitat. But it does help people find me, so here we are.For the past 12+ years I’ve worked across startups, nonprofits and established brands, shaping end to end digital products. That usually means getting involved early, asking the awkward questions, running workshops, mapping journeys, writing specs, designing UX and UI, and staying close through build and launch.I’m at my best owning a product end to end, whether working solo or alongside a team, and guiding it as it evolves with the company. I’m comfortable taking a product from its first rough shape through to something stable, scalable and genuinely useful. My background spans agencies, in house roles, consultancy and product ownership. I’ve led product and UX work across SaaS, fundraising, healthcare, hospitality, interior design, finance and scientific research. I’ve worked with brands such as Greenpeace, Vitality, OCS, Savills, Garmin, ABB, SafeKeep, NHS partners via Just R, Fusion Conferences and others, both large and lovely.I’m comfortable working within existing product processes, and I also bring a small set of frameworks I’ve developed over time to help shape, grow or renew products when clarity is needed. Fresh helps define new products, Growth supports thoughtful expansion, and Renew focuses on modernising products that need a rethink. In short, I help teams create better digital products. For their users, their teams and the businesses behind them. I try to leave things clearer, calmer and better than I found them.
