About Jacob Hutton
Currently completing an accelerated Integrated Undergraduate–Graduate (IUG) Master of Science in Landscape Architecture at Penn State, set to finish in June 2026. My research focuses on—though is not limited to—alternative transportation strategies within American landscapes, future mobility systems, and multimodal networks. I’m driven by how design can make everyday travel safer, more intuitive, and centered on the human experience.My academic background includes international study across parts of Germany, the Catalonia region of Spain, and parts of the Netherlands, along with additional travel to France, Switzerland, Morocco, and Italy. These experiences have broadened my understanding of global mobility systems, public space design, and culturally informed approaches to multimodal networks.From late May to early July 2026, I will serve as a Co‑Program Leader for Penn State’s study-abroad program in London, Edinburgh, and the Scottish Highlands, guiding students as they explore international design, climate change, and cultural landscapes within the public realm.I’m actively seeking internship and entry-level opportunities in collaborative environments where I can contribute to and learn from innovative teams, with availability beginning July 2026.
