   Write, edit, and distribute a wide range of informational documents with the goal of clearly communicating current events, U.S. government policy positions, and U.S-funded response activities to high-level USAID, National Security Council, and interagency policymakers and the broader public. • Serve on a variety of fast-paced humanitarian responses, reporting on and analyzing the impact of USAID humanitarian programs and climatic, political, security, and other developments (approximately 2 years of cumulative field experience). Led U.S. government humanitarian reporting from the field on the Afghanistan (2024), Horn of Africa (2023), and Ethiopia (2022) emergencies and served on Washington-based teams supporting responses in Gaza/West Bank, Sudan, South Sudan, and Venezuela. • In both field and Washington-based positions, have developed proficiency in humanitarian policy writing and analysis and knowledge of the international humanitarian assistance environment more generally, particularly in Africa. Maintain relationships with interagency colleagues, non-U.S. donor representatives, and UN and NGO partner staff to effectively report on developments related to armed conflict and natural disasters.
