About Jacob Mora
Hello! My name is Jacob Mora, and I am a University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) alumnus. I received a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Professional Writing in 2025. My experiences and interests include working in healthcare, student affairs, event planning, and community building. I worked within the Arthur Student Health & Wellness Center as a Sexual Health Coordinator. I aided in on-campus initiatives that allow and encourage access to safer sex supplies, resources, and education through outreach events such as the Bruin Love Station & Bruin Love Station Express.I also served as a Resident Assistant for UCLA Residential Life to support and be a resource to primarily first-year undergraduate residents. Specifically, I spearheaded event and program planning for 100+ residents and served as an on-duty crisis responder. I enjoyed working in this role as I assisted in academic transitions, created an inclusive environment, created a sense of belonging, and fostered a safe environment for those that I supervised. In the future, I plan to pursue a career in public health or medicine that relates to holistic health in hopes of creating a more inclusive environment and normalized discussion of all health-related concerns.
