Responsible for developing complex optical transmission network designs, ensuring that quality, time, and cost objectives are consistently met. • Design new DWDM systems both within the network and out to external colo facilities across Ciena and Infinera platforms. • Host project meetings with relevant stakeholders, being the design authority when advising and determining design delivery. • The Jira ‘Champion’ within the design team. Responsible for developing Jira dashboards and improving process both internally within the team and amongst the wider business. • Strong technical knowledge which enables record interrogation and the understanding of vendor technical documentation. • Genuine business relationships formed with vendor representatives and colleagues across the organisation. • Proficient with a range of tools and applications including: Visio, TNDT, DNA, Jira, CLI • Currently studying towards CCNA
