I have been in technology for the entire career. When it comes to work, I love automation, process standardization, and quality management / improvement. When it comes to hobbies, I compose/play piano music by ear, enjoy building genuine relationships through networking, sports and technology, enjoy the challenge and beauty of raising 4 incredible children, and am blessed to have a fun, spontaneous wife that is the love of my life.Work Projects- A testing framework utilized company wide for QA purposes- spearheading automation efforts with newly developed APIs which quickly led to a workflow automation ROI of nearly 300% in 12 months- Developing a standardized test plan to be utilized for testing all software features through the SDLC from beginning to end- Developed over 50 scripts (primarily using JavaScript and Python) in an effort to reduce redundancy and human error while increasing efficiency and productivity.Hobby Projects- Written 2 original songs and created 14 compositions from songs of various genres- Created a GroupMe bot using JavaScript to: track/aggregate people counts who wanted to play basketball, answer questions from users, trigger time based and count based notifications, carry out admin tasks when necessary- Organized and created, and automated a system to triage HOA questions in our community using JavaScript, web services and the Qualtrics platform- Took over 60 local business owners to lunch in an effort to learn more about their business and create genuine relationships.* I can make a mean grilled cheese sandwich.

   Currently helping WCF with Software Quality and Automation Efforts. This includes in depth test management and planning for large features, writing scripts to help automate test execution using TestComplete and Python, and developing complex SQL statements using PostgresSQL to simplify and optimize automation scripts and user testing. Accomplishments- Developed a Test Plan Template to standardize the testing process through the SDLC. The plan was approved by all IT and Business leaders and stakeholders and is being used company wide for software quality efforts- Created an integration between Confluence (Atlassian) and Zephyr (Smart Bear) that pulls the status of Test Cycles into Confluence to give visibility for stakeholders to view in one central place. Technologies used: Zephyr API, Token Authentication, Confluence macros including a SQL-based macro to convert the extracted JSON into a table, and formatting macro- Created and refined 4 SQL queries to date that have reduced the runtime from an average of 85 seconds to an average of 16 seconds.
