YouthBuild - AmeriCorps training and education program for 18 to 24 year old Milwaukee residents who are disconnected from school and/or work. Members build new houses, which are then available for sale to families earning no more than 80% of County Median Income.CHDO - Utilizing Federal Block Grant HOME Funding, developing new construction housing for qualified low-income households. Neighborhood Improvement Project -Improves housing conditions for eligible low-income homeowners living in deteriorating and unsafe homes. These free services ensure that homes comply with local residential dwelling codes. Services can include roofing, siding, heating, electrical, painting and structural improvements.
