ABOUT JACOB TROXELL

Throughout my six years of study at prominent educational institutions, I have demonstrated an outstanding level of academic achievement, with a 3.909 GPA in my graduate studies at Ball State University. Subsequently, I have shown a particular strength in social science research that requires analytical and speculative approaches. I have been consistently engaged in conducting long-term and short-term research projects, most of which involved meticulous investigation and qualitative research - experiences that I believe would transfer well to any workplace. Moreover, my area of focus and experience have varied from government relations to strategic legislative analysis. In addition to my strong academic background, I have experience working for various governmental organizations where I have acquired skills in planning events; developing and managing legislature, including various state tax codes; communicating with diverse groups of people; and administering logistics. My salient working experiences include interning for Senator Todd Young, in Washington D.C; Congresswoman Susan Brooks (IN-5); and the Indiana Fiscal Office of the Senate Majority Caucus, otherwise known as the Borst Fellowship. More specifically, my background, working in the Indiana Fiscal Office; working on the 20••••21 budget, analyzing legislation and strategically cooperating with public sector agencies and private sector entities have provided me a deeper understanding of the multifaceted problems and solutions that are encountered throughout the legislature. Furthermore, because of my experiences, I fully understand the dynamic roles in which effective communication, strong personal relationships, and tactical partnerships are for the development and structure of successful organizations.
