Serves as AFSOUTH A4R, Logistics, Installation, and Mission Support Directorate, Deputy Chief of Logistics. Provides logistics readiness advice and assistance to the AFSOUTH Commander, analyzing logistics readiness plans and programs, and accomplishing unit level planning of AFSOUTH logistics capabilities in support of theater readiness. Serves as a staff logistics advisor to the Headquarters Air Forces Southern (AFSOUTH), subordinate commands, units, and detachments in USSOUTHCOM\'s Area of Responsibility (AOR) to improve the effectiveness and understanding of logistics requirements: to serve as the focal point for logistics and support planning and resources required for JCS, USSOUTHCOM, 12 AF (AFSOUTH) exercises, contingencies and Air Force Forces (AFFOR) support to the 31 countries in USSOUTHCOM\'s AOR. Acts as the A4R representative to the AFSOUTH Crisis Action Team, and the AFSIOUTH Planning Enterprise, synchronizing current and future logistics operations for efficiency and effectiveness. Processes classified information daily, on multiple networks and systems.
