ABOUT JACOB POWERS

As someone who knew I wanted to work in the insurance and risk management industry from the start of my education, I’ve dedicated all of my time to institutional learning about the business and obtaining national certifications, as well as gaining valuable, hands-on knowledge and experience through internships with the firm I now call “home.” My approach to risk management and consultation is much like the reason I love this business – it’s never the same. No client is the same. No solution is the same. No claim is the same. What may seem like a straightforward industry is actually quite complex, as seen when I begin to uncover things my clients never knew were risks, options they had, coverage gaps and more. Every day and every person I work with presents a new set of risks, challenges and needs that require a results-oriented and committed partner. I offer my clients innovative, carefully structured solutions, backed by the tenure of experienced shareholders who work with me and our clients to ensure we provide programs and coverages that make the most sense. While I maintain an interest in all aspects of risk consultation, I have a particular area of focus in cyber liability insurance. “Cyber” may sound like the latest insurance buzzword, but truth be told, it’s been on the radar of many risk professionals, including myself, for quite some time.
