ABOUT JACOB PHELAN

As a current computer science student at Cornell University, I am passionate about using technology to solve complex problems and make a positive impact on the world. More specifically, over the past year I have become very interested in the world of AI and have worked on many personal projects that incorporate AI in some way (see https://github.com/jakephelan1). My favorite is a recreation of the PAC-MAN game where I trained PAC-MAN using Python\'s NEAT library to be able to effectively avoid ghosts, gather points, and utilize the power pellets. I have also familiarized myself with UI and web development using tools like JavaFX, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. I have always been a creative problem solver and hard worker, who always goes above and beyond expectations. I can\'t wait to network with other computer scientists and venture further into the world of AI.
