As part of the media stack, we deliver audio, video, and screen content from one device to another. We use a variety of Apple technologies to achieve this, including Bonjour and BTLE in order to discover nearby devices, infrastructure and peer-to-peer WiFi to deliver media data, the audio and media frameworks to acquire the media data, and many more to provide group playback synchronization, metadata delivery for user interface presentation… the list goes on and on.
