Project engineer on design team involved in the preparation of various Phase I and Phase II civil engineering plans for Illinois Tollway, Illinois Department of Transportation, Texas Department of Transportation, and various local municipalities’ projects. My responsibilities include: • Assembling Phase I and II ADA, Erosion Control, Storm Water Pollution Prevention, Landscaping, and Roadway Plans, quantities, and cost estimates for various IDOT (Districts 1, 2, and 4), Illinois Tollway, and municipal projects.• Assists structural team with Specifications for the National Bridge Inventory (SNBI) project to update information on thousands of bridges throughout the State of Illinois. SE3 is a prime and leads a multi-company team to make these updates.• Assists with alley and street annotations for the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Red Line Extension project.• Does marketing work to research bids, Request For Proposals, Request For Quotations for various Chicago area and Northern Illinois villages, cities, counties, transit agencies, and metropolitan planning organizations. Some have resulted in project work for SE3.Accomplishments:• Assembled Phase II Landscaping, Erosion Control, Stormwater Pollution Prevention, and ADA Plans for I-80 near Joliet, Illinois.• Assembled ramp alignment plans for the elevated express lanes of I-35 in San Antonio, Texas.• Assembled Phase I ADA Ramp plans for 192 ramps along Cicero Avenue, Pulaski Road, 95th Street, 127th Street, and 135th Street in Worth Township, Illinois.• Assembled Phase I ADA Ramp plans for 35 ramps along IL 72 in Byron, Illinois.• Performed the annual Condition Rating Survey for Illinois Tollway pavement and signs, and supervised other engineers and interns working on this project.
