ABOUT JACOB MARCUS AMBAT

I have had the opportunity to work in different fields in Bioinformatics like Next Generation sequence (NGS) analysis, Genomics, Proteomics, Computational biology, and Data Analytics with the use of Artificial Intelligence. I have > 7 years of work experience as a Bioinformatician/Bioinformatics Associate/Team lead managing Bioinformatics pipeline development and maintenance, NGS data analysis from different sequencing machines (Illumina, twist biosciences) for WES/WGS, Build/release/maintain in-house software tools for diagnostic variant analyses of rare diseases, use cloud infrastructures and workflow management resources to debug, analyze, retrieve data, provide training and onboarding, user requirements gathering, project planning communicating with different departments and customers for various projects in-house and also externally. I\'m always eager to learn and keep myself up to date on the latest research in computational Biology. I\'m often asked to give an opinion, at an early stage, if a task is feasible or not. It often becomes my task in a project, to explain complex technical matters to my supervisors and get better solutions. I believe I have a strong drive and the ability to navigate through my skills and make a better solution to the tasks and projects assigned to me.
